Relationship & Couples Counselling

Reconnect. Repair. Rediscover each other.

All relationships face challenges. Whether you’re experiencing communication breakdowns, conflict, betrayal, disconnection, or simply feeling stuck—relationship counselling offers a calm, structured space to explore what’s going on and what’s possible.

At Wynyard Therapy & Life Coaching Services, we provide a safe, neutral environment where both partners are supported to speak openly, reflect honestly, and work toward greater understanding—whether the goal is to repair the relationship, reshape it, or separate respectfully.

Who is it for?

We work with couples from all walks of life, including those who are:

  • Arguing often or avoiding difficult conversations

  • Feeling distant, resentful or emotionally disconnected

  • Working through a betrayal or affair

  • Facing major life transitions (e.g. parenting, illness, career shifts)

  • Considering separation but unsure of the next step

  • Navigating neurodiversity in the relationship

  • Wanting to deepen or strengthen their connection

We support couples at any stage—dating, cohabiting, married, separated—and welcome all relationship styles, including LGBTQIA+ and non-monogamous partnerships.

What to Expect

Our sessions offer a respectful, non-judgemental space to:

  • Identify unhelpful patterns in your relationship

  • Understand each other’s emotional needs and perspectives

  • Learn better ways to communicate and handle conflict

  • Rebuild trust, intimacy or connection—if that’s what you both want

  • Make informed, supported decisions about the future

We take time to listen deeply to both of you. Therapy isn’t about taking sides—it’s about helping you hear and understand each other, sometimes in a way you haven’t been able to before.

Neurodiverse-Affirming Relationship Support

If neurodivergence (such as ADHD or autism) is part of your relationship dynamic, we have therapists with both lived experience and specialist training. We offer practical strategies and compassionate support tailored to how your brains—and your bond—really work.

Fees & Session Length

To make sure there’s enough time and space for both partners to feel heard and for meaningful progress to take place, all couples counselling sessions are 90 minutes long.
